Wattle Gully Retreat is located on the beautiful Blackall Ranges next door to the Glasshouse Mountains. Guests can enjoy the beautiful Australian bush, misty mountain mornings, listen to native bird life and the koalas mating call at night. Enjoy horse riding, rainforest walks, swimming in mountain rock pools, pony rides and farm activities for children.

Beechtree Cabin

Wattle Gully Retreat is a privately owned bush haven which has been in the same pioneering family for over 100 years. This private retreat boasts a beautiful waterfall - mountain creek and native bush haven for bush animals and bird life. Sightings of wallabies and koalas are a regular occurrence.

Ross and Robyn Ansell and their family welcome guests to come and enjoy the peaceful tranquility they live in at Wattle Gully Retreat.

Wattle Gully also offers guests and day-visitors a unique trail-riding experience through their property as well as operating a Saddle Club for anyone who wants to develop their skills and knowledge of horse care and handling.

Beechtree Cabin is a self-contained two bedroom log style cabin set high on a ridge overlooking the property. It sleeps 5 guests and features a spacious verandah and log fireplace

Rosegum Cottage accommodates three persons and is surrounded by native bush. It features an alfresco dining area log fireplace and fully equipped kitchenette.

Wattle Gully Farmhouse is ideal for large family groups, girl's weekends away or small group seminars. The Farmhouse can accommodate up to 13 people comfortably.
